Anybody know anything about any past or present digs in flower pot...
Southampton uni had adopted this cave in the past (mainly because the secretary at the time liked the name) and are just trying to find out more about it.

Hi,

Southampotn haven't dug down there since 2000.  A metal ladder belonging to Bob Smith was left down there  i believe but last year during the summer the whole depression sumped so the cave was completely under water.  Since that time I don't think Southampton or otherwise have been down there.  I remember Bob cursing about his lost ladder in the Hunters one night...

Thanks for the info.
We went down flowerpot on Sunday, its not summped at the moment, just exceedingly muddy ,  the ladder is still there though the bolt attaching it is a bit rusty.
