I managed to fit through the "Easy squeeze box" and got my certificate, I also looked on the sheet of paper and I was the biggest person to do it so far; 46" chest....so no excuses if you didn't fit through 'cause if I can do it then anyone can!!

Its not quite as simple as that. I am analysing the results, and will post them here later, but basically it  depends on age, not chest size. Over a certain age it would appear that the sternum and ribs are less flexible. So a young person with a 46ins chest can do the squeze when an older person with a 36in chest can not.

More later.
Is there a gender factor?

At first glance, no.

I hope there's a gender/age interaction. The thought of older women having less squashable boobs is too grim to contemplate.

What grade toilets? I'd give them A3. (At least you could sit on them).

That's encouraging. I might be able to manage a grade 3 next year.

Or did you mean the survey? A 50cm error could be dodgy.

Dick Willis can explain for you. A = European style, D = communal hole. 1 to 5 are levels of cleanliness. His explanation was much funnier.

One criticism (that I heard form quite a few people) is that there was no where near enough toilets for the numbers of people attending and drinking large amounts real ale...

Otherwise, a fanstastic weekend all round. Well done team!

Having found one toilet with a supply of paper on Sunday morning, it was tempting to nick it all and sell it at a penny a sheet to all those queuing at the toilets where it had all run out.

Yes the toilets were the worst bit. Bring your own bogroll like me  :sneaky:
Apart from that everything was hunky dory! Especially the Potholer.

Glad you all enjoyed yourselves.

I am sorry about the toilets, we had issues with the venue staff over the weekend (especially Friday night). The toilets were one of the "issues" (unfortunatly this was beyond our control).  :(

FYI the Potholer (and Cheddar Best) was all drunk (25 kegs :beer:   Well done.

I will pass your comments on to the rest of the team at our conference debrief meeting soon. It's good to know we got most stuff  right.  (y) (y)

Ps. If you want to volunteer to help organise next years event (there are more than 50 people needed in the "team") then please contact me. Your help will be greatly appreciated. If you have any particular skills or ideas you think might be useful then let me know.  ;)

This is interesting. (maybe it should be in a new thread). What are the dimensions of the squeeze box? I think I should fit. Am I unusual that my ass is bigger than my chest - well I like to think it is my large man tackle that is the problem  :-[

I thought that it is well known that the ribs get less flexible with age. I cant remember who told me but I've heard it some time (years) age that this will be the most limiting factor for squeezes (personally I prefer caves without squeezes, even if I'm relatively young)

Just out of interest, from someone who is unable to get to Hidden Earth, do any of the lectures given ever get published in any shape or form?

It is possible that Scoff and Dave Ryall's offering may make it onto You Tube if the quality of our recording is good enough. If it gets there we will let you know.  (y)

It was VERY funny.
