I was plagued by amorous crane-flies.

I managed to fit through the "Easy squeeze box" and got my certificate, I also looked on the sheet of paper and I was the biggest person to do it so far; 46" chest....so no excuses if you didn't fit through 'cause if I can do it then anyone can!!

Its not quite as simple as that. I am analysing the results, and will post them here later, but basically it  depends on age, not chest size. Over a certain age it would appear that the sternum and ribs are less flexible. So a young person with a 46ins chest can do the squeze when an older person with a 36in chest can not.

Dick Willis can explain for you. A = European style, D = communal hole. 1 to 5 are levels of cleanliness. His explanation was much funnier.

One criticism (that I heard form quite a few people) is that there was no where near enough toilets for the numbers of people attending and drinking large amounts real ale...

Glad you all enjoyed yourselves. 

I am sorry about the toilets, we had issues with the venue staff over the weekend (especially Friday night). The toilets were one of the "issues" (unfortunatly this was beyond our control). 

FYI the Potholer (and Cheddar Best) was all drunk (25 kegs  )  Well done.

I will pass your comments on to the rest of the team at our conference debrief meeting soon. It's good to know we got most stuff  right.

This is interesting. (maybe it should be in a new thread). What are the dimensions of the squeeze box? I think I should fit. Am I unusual that my ass is bigger than my chest - well I like to think it is my large man tackle that is the problem  :-[

I thought that it is well known that the ribs get less flexible with age. I cant remember who told me but I've heard it some time (years) age that this will be the most limiting factor for squeezes (personally I prefer caves without squeezes, even if I'm relatively young)
