"Potholer"? Sounds northern to me. It would be "Caver" if it was southern.

Exactly what I told the Brewery owner* when he was doing his market research. However, despite that, it IS a southern brewery producing Potholer - Cheddar Ales. Guess where it's based? Go on, go on, go on, go on....

Another of theirs is Totty Pot - I didn't have the heart to tell them how that particular cave got its name but those in the know will be well aware that it isn't really what you'd want to name a drink after.

Bowland Admiral is good. As good as Potholer. I would drink both.

I would also vote for the Moorhouses Blonde Witch and the Pride of Pendle.

Bowland Admiral is brilliant stuff. All of the beer the Bowland Brewery does is good.
