Hilti TE-6 A dead battery

The battery for my TE-6A got a soaking when the lid on the rocket tube fell off whilst being transported into Wookey.  It takes charge but won't run the drill.  The drill is fine (it was in a dry bag which unfortunately wasn't big enough to take drill + battery.

Any ideas - it is currently somewhere warm to dry out and I'll open it up when I can find the right screwdriver.

If it is genuinely dead Duncan, against all advice I bought a replacement via Amazone from a company called Green Cell. It cost ?78 (postage was steep though) but has proved to fit the drilll (same model as yours) and the charger and can drill 4 metre deep shot holes without flattening.

And when the OR and Mr O'Doc were young.....
