Is the cave in the BCA logo Alum Pot?

looking up pictures of Alum pot and some of them look strikingly like the BCA logo. Could this be what it is? Always have wondered.

If I remember correctly, the iconic window into Alum Pot was chosen because Long Churns is often the first cave done by newbies to the sport (certainly in the Dales) and the first time you see the view out into the Pot is an unforgettable experience.

It's a great choice, and clearly proven so as you were able to recognise the logo from this photo, despite never having been there yourself.

Of course if you had your way the BCA logo would be the view down into Fox Chamber 😂
 
Although you remember the view not the window! I still think it looks more like an animal head....

Have been! Loved Alum. First thought back in Derbyshire was 'I need to do Eldon to keep the vibes going' and instead found frogs and dead crows
