It's alive... film is alive...

Film is very much alive despite the prevalence (or is that malevolence) of mobile phones. Found this interesting video on Ilford film. Didn't quite realise how big the operation still is these days. In my fridge at home I keep a few rolls of XP2 (you can develop XP2 via the colour film C41 process in a normal lab). It's so nice to get a proper clockwork, or similar, or indeed any film camera, out and shoot a roll of film. Nothing wrong with film cameras and lenses so why not use them? Best of all you get real physical prints and not a load of digital stuff destined to stay on a hard drive for ever more.
