Cave Librarian Goes Underground!
On Saturday as the weather was awful I decided to go down Pooles Cavern show cave in Derbyshire. Even though I have been living and caving here since 1974 I had never ventured into Pooles. I was rather impressed with the cave and the tour guide was excellent. A nice balance between fact/folklore and fun for the younger tourists. It was a most enjoyable hour and the soup in the cafe afterwards was delicious!
