Lots of maggots in the Lost Johns' streamway, today. It was just like caving on Mendip.

We saw some maggots at the entrance to Hardrawkin Pot a couple of years ago. The source was a very dead sheep the other side of the wall by the entrance.

Yes - we suspected that there must be a dead sheep upstream, and that one of the recent spates had cleaned it out a bit.
