Does anyone have any knowledge on caving in Montenegro? Please share all your wisdom

There are caves around 500m deep near the Kotor area of the coastal range. York University went to the Durmitor range several times and had one system that was if I recall well over 600m deep, there are some big resurgences in the Tara canyon and finally the Prokelitje range that straddles the border with Albania has some 600m+ deep systems. I suspect there's a lot more to find.

There's a short fillum too but that'll have to wait until I return to the desktop. The scope for discoveries there is tremendous.

Yes indeed. There are vast areas of unexplored limestone. Polish cavers are active in Prokletije, and the Hungarians have been visiting the Lovćen National Park for many years, with many big discoveries (Montenegro barlangkutatás). The huge resurgences of Spila and Sopot on Kotor Bay are still wide open.

Dunno. Went there for a hard time, not for a lark. Although did manage to turn the hard time into a kind of lark, I guess.
