The conference is now less than 2 weeks away! Two points of note:
- There are still spaces on one or two trips, including the most popular 'hardcore' trips (on account of one or two people dropping out).
- Moore Books and Starless River will be attending. If you want to pre-order anything and collect there, now's a good time to be arranging it.

I no Mike from Moorebooks, had to put an extra gallon of fuel in, since he is bringing my recent purchase along. 🕵️‍♂️

Friends, it is with sadness I have to advise that I have had to cancell my booking due to the reoccuring skin problems that I have, those who know me personally will know about this. For the avoidance of doubt it affects my hands and causes problems in the night, so dont want to be away from home.
So this year there will not be a karate demonstration or how to cook breakfast outside on a WW2 pressure stove. Never mind, always another year.

So my problem seems to have cleared - from Friday - could have gone and would have been OK. Sods Law strikes again, Oh well.

Big thanks to all the people that made this possible. I had a good time and really enjoyed the trips I went on. I will probably be there next year (Location dependent)

Conference is now all finished and went well. If anybody has any constructive feedback to make for next years event, let me know. (Note I won't be organising - that's for another club!)

I had a great time as usual - massive thanks to all involved.

In terms of feedback I think those camping showers were very good and much appreciated. All the usual element, conference meal, venue, field trips etc. were also spot on.

The only possible improvement I would suggest would be for the trip information to contain the list of delegates on that trip to make lift sharing arrangements a little easier - perhaps though these days there are data concerns to consider.
