Out of interest how much do folk think a No 1 is worth?  I don't have one by the way, but do know from a couple of collectors that the first magazine still evades their sets.

About 20 years ago one of my customers had a No 1 for sale for ?25.00, but he refused to sell it to me as I would "Sell it as a profit".  Needless to say I completed my set with a complimentary photocopy.

I certainly know people who have said they would pay quite a bit for a Descent #1... It would be very exciting to see what one went for on eBay... I wouldn't be surprised if it managed ?200-300.

I guess that there'd be copyright issues etc. around reproduction of whole publications.  I think there is a clause in copyright laws about selective reproduction of small extracts for quotes, or reviews, and fair use, etc. but not the whole thing and almost certainly probably not reproducing for resale.
Maybe the original publishers could advise?
