Descent 305 - Pre-order is open!!
Our August/September issue has a publication date of 2 August, and it is a special summer bumper issue full of stories of exploration and wonder from the underground world.
I use a long sleeve rash vest when using a neofleece to prevent rash. I have also used the same vest with a fleece undersuit in the past and found, unless it's a really cold cave, I usually get too warm (although I'm never usually hanging around for long periods of time).
Can't say I've ever had a problem with zip chafe on my chest, the nether regions have an old pair of undies - zip chafe or otherwise down there doesn't bear thinking about
I guess it depends on the type of trips/size of party/waiting for some to fettle the camera etc - lots of variables. Keep moving and you generally stay warm!
Thanks for the replies guys! Just got back from a trip, didn't wear anything under my undersuit, but wore a fleece and trackies between that and my over suit, which was easily warm enough, even when wet!
