They had some great sports back in the day, the 1900 Paris games featured a swimming obstacle course in the Seine (going over and under obstacles like rowing boats) as well as live pigeon shooting. The easiest gold medal was won in the pairs croquet as only one pair entered.

Cave digging should be an olympic sport. A big project takes more than 4 years so it would provide continuity between the games.

Working on Stream Passage, it feels like weight lifting for the big boulders and shot putting for chucking the smaller rocks onto the spoil heap. Gymnastics too, on the scaff.

Back in 1908 we had exotic events like city planning in the Olympics too, I think that was axed in the 1930s sadly
