Speaking of which (and apologies for everyone else who realises this of off topic - but I don't want to miss this opportunity to ask) - Bograt, have you had chance yet to digitise your superb collection of Peak Cavern system images from the 80s yet?

Have bought a slide scanner, problem is the slides are locked in the projector case and I've mislaid the key,  don't know if I can pick the lock

Yup, done that, now I need time, now lets see, about 200 slides at 12 a go, mmmmm,

Go for it Bograt - that collection of transparencies you made is excellent. And it's also an interesting record of the sort of people who were active around the time.

I'm a lousy photographer and it's very frustrating when people ask if I have a picture of so and so and I have to say no. But your collection includes all sorts of "off the beaten track" locations in the Peak system, so well worth the effort of digitising. I bet some of them have still never been photographed by anyone else.
