Going to have to be a guess. Raiders Passage, Draenen?

It looks like the section of passage beyond the choke in Gilwern Passage in Draenen.

You are all getting the right cave, Ogof Draenen.
Not Gilwern Passage, Raiders Passage or Hearts of Golden Glory.
Clue - You have to pass this place to get to eastern part of the cave.

I was torn between guessing two different passages so this time I'll try Canyon North/Canyon West (same passage really and not actually a canyon!), which fits in with your clue - pass by but not travel through.

Not Canyon North or West.
When I said you have to pass this place to get to the eastern parts, you have to travel through this passage.

Close enough - bit further in - it?s after Long Straw Chamber though, just before the climb up into Coral Passage....

Gone in the Years is the bloody 'orrible parallel passage that also leads to Snowball!

Gone in the Years is the bloody 'orrible parallel passage that also leads to Snowball!
