Now if someone posts a picture of avelines... I might be able to guess a Mendip wezzit! There really is more down there than I was told when I first started caving (and have to admit to never even hearing of 'The Mendips' until then )

Sorry Antwan, I haven't got a picture of Aveline's ;)

Here is one I took on my mobile phone a while ago (camera doesn't make it out too often these days...)

I think you'll need to be a little more specific Max, but you're in the right cave!

Oh blimey! I think I've exhausted my ancient supply of Mendip cave photos so if someone else wants a go, please feel free.

That looks very much like the 40' climb in Grebe Swallet to me.

Unfortunately, I haven't any photo's to post up so I will try and avoid being specific in case I get it right!!

Although I haven't been there for some years, it looks similar to an entrance in Ebbor Gorge!

Sorry Pleasant and Moist, but its not in Ebbor...

Apologies for the size of the pic, and thanks Pegasus for sorting it out.

Its a Great cave, but not visited all that often.

Well Thank you Ed W, for that nice little moniker reinterpretation  :) I quite like that.....Although "She, Who must be obeyed" did raise her eyebrows when I mentioned it to her!  ..but yeah....I like it .......Cheers Ed
