It didn't work. You appear to have referenced a file that is stored on your own computer. This will not work. You need to upload it to a picture hosting site (such as flickr) and then reference the URL of the image from that hosting site instead.

Steviet_scg

For future reference, the address of the file that you need to use is the url of the actual jpg file. In this case that is:

https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/-LWNkpMWAzm4/TgSXFM-1iVI/AAAAAAAABkM/fvki4bGGL-k/who%252520knows.jpg

I got this by right clicking on the image itself on the picasa page, choosing properties and copying the above from the address field in the properties.

If you then put the above in the image tags [img ][/img ] (note that the tags should not have a space before the close bracket - this is just so you can see the code within this message) then you should get what Rob posted.
:beer2:

Using the preview function before posting will also let you verify that the code is correct as it will show a preview of your post at the top of the page.

Good stuff.
Don't expect this one to last two minutes.

Mined passage but there's a least one thread about it on here so think it should be legit.

Well, I've been down there enough times, so I'd hope I got it - now i've got to find another pic of Derbyshire that OG hasn't seen!

No idea where it is, but nice pic of a nice place (and before Old Git has a go at me –  :tease: – trite comment!)

Anyway, I took the liberty of dragging the image to my desktop and spent about 2 minutes in Photoshop Elements (£60 – can't afford the real Mccoy at ~£600) getting rid of the distracting tape. Would you like to see the result, Zomjon?

Great shot Zomjom, although i've got no idea! Hmmm

1. Phreatic, so mostly rules out the swallets.
2. Oversuit is clean, so mostly rules out most places, or it is simply close to an entrance
3. Limestone very orange
4. Stalactities and stalagmites = old
5. Taped well, so prossably an "officially protected" place

Nope, no idea!  >:(
The end is where we start....

Is it a Derbyshire caver dreaming about a possible Carlsbad-Big-Room-style discovery as he passes some roadworks on the the way home from the pub?

Here we go; got rid of  the tape, and subtly 'tweeked' the shadows at the back.

I do believe that is the Grotto in Aussie Chamber in Darfar Ridge Cave, the scene of my recent (Nov 2010) filming with the BBC! (For the Countryfile program.) The tallest stalagmite in the centre is the one I mended with Superglue a few years ago...
Norbert Casteret (Ten Years Under the Earth) and Pierre Chevalier (Subterranean Climbers) were my inspiration to start caving. (And I'm still doing it.) Secretary, Darfar Potholing Club, the Peak District.
