Looks like you've got folks stumped.

I'm going to guess at the entrance to sidetrack - right at the start. (though perhaps the floor looks too dry, and not clayey enough.

Somewhere on Treak Cliff?

Sorry guys I've had a day travelling, right let's see.........

Er no, no and no sorry to say, but it is (as you would expect in the Castleton area).

If you look REALLY hard there's a big clue!

Well spotted Sir!

Blue John Cavern it is, on the way from the showcave through to Stemple Cavern.

Thank you Madam

That's the "old " show cave through the wooden brattice installed by PB Smith? I went up there  on one of those bratticing trips .

I'm afraid I'll have to pass the baton to someone else as I don't have any recent photos digitized to post.

On the wall!

Sorry - I don't know the exact location, I just remember seeing a photo with Rawlinson 1795 somewhere (I used to live in Brassington).

My brother and I dug the connection through a wall of deads in about 1980. Does anyone  know by who or when it was given the name? We never gave it a name.

I don't have any pics to put up so will someone else have a go.
