The floods must have been really bad if Old Tor Mine has been washed from Winnats all the way down to Matlock! Is it Long Tor Mine you're thinking of, and if so, which one?

Long Tor Top Mine is 17.312km away from the photo location (according to the DCA Cave Registry).

It's in the bit that's not shown on the Eldon survey, if it's where I think it is - possibly dug into since the survey was done?

Obscure dodgy mines are my speciality, but this one isn't obscure or particularly dodgy though it is a mine.
It's also listed in the gospel according to Beck and Barker.
