Never forget that Daren drums float! Like really really floaty. The amount of people I've waited for whilst they worried about a bag dragging them down in water is unreal!

However, I never quite realised how floaty until I had a bag with a  drum full of diving gear, a drum full of digging gear, an SRT kit and a 6L diving cylinder fall off an inner tube in the green canal! That floated!

Second one, if you attempt rope walking with a pantin, instead of putting your hand on the jammer to move it up, put a loop of bungee/inner tube on the top right hole if you're right handed. You put your wrist through this, can hold onto the tensioned rope higher up and swap your hands over.
