Hi all!

We have found a promising lead. We are rapidly dropping the distance between Aggy and Daren, but we are having manpower issues (we can't get the spoil out of the dig quick enough as it is a fair distance!!). It has been smoke-tested and there is an audible connection; so confirmed to connect! It's just sand and small rocks

We are looking for more diggers/helpers/anything with two arms ideally.
We are digging 11APRIL->13APRIL, and 18APRIL->20APRIL. Daytrippers welcome, but given advance notice we can accomodate you camping.

Come be apart of the glory!

I would be keen for the 11th to 13th and would be happy to camp

That's brilliant news, Alex. It was nice to meet you at Whitewalls a few weeks ago.

I've got two arms but the shoulders they're connected to don't work too well!

How did you do the smoke test and voice connection with the flooding that's recently occurred in the sandy swims/rock steady cruise? Did you get a diver to go in through the terminal sump and then st davids to get to the daren side of where priory road is?

Donovan et al did the tests, the information was lost until recently.

Last night Tony Donovan expressed the opinion that this time the link will be made. It is just a question of getting enough manpower on site to remove the dug spoil. This has been a long time coming but the end is nigh.

Mr Donovan and I have been talking to each other for a little while now; it is always great to hear from him.

We are hopeful that the connection will be completed very soon; it all comes down to summoning the manpower for the next month or so.

Weekend just gone went well, all spoil has been shifted to the old diggers camp (it's a lot! Over 40 trays of hefty rocks). Diggers next weekend have a fighting chance.
