    An informative discussion

Recently there was long thread about the BCA. I can now post possible answers to some of the questions, such as "Why is the BCA still raising membership prices when there is a significant amount still left in its coffers?"

Browns Folly Quarry / Mine - ongoing deliberate destruction

It reminds me of "Taken".

"I have a particular set of skills".

"If you do not desist, I will track you down, I will find you and I will kill you"

"Good Looochhh" (Turkish Accent)

That website, "Brians Folly", if there was some way to ID those running it and post the details as comment on their own website I bet they would be far from happy about it. I must have a sick mind

Facebook will not divulge the owner but they do have a community standards which if breached allow you to report content that will be removed by facebook if your complaint is upheld.

I think Brian's Folly is a company page (but I am not sure) and owned by someone. Facebook allow company pages to suggest related pages.

When facebook suggests related pages for me - this suggests

We know no forum is responsible for its members but in this case most of the posts are
by the site itself.

Facebook does try to insist that people posting identify themselves
(except for fan and company pages). So another game you can play is to perform a google site query to search for matches on the web site. For example:
site:https://www.facebook.com/briansfolly/ like jasper

This returns

Similar google queries reveal other people who like the site. It reads like a who's who of the urbex world. The correspondence with known critics of Brian is unsurprising.

The name of the person who runs the most popular urbex site in the UK, if not the world (their words not mine) is among the graffiti in one of the photos. I wonder what the significance of that is? What would he have done to one of his own forum users to upset them enough to do such a thing? The people who are mentioned in the google search as some of the most prevalent posters on the forum and are quite renowned in the urbex world. Peculiar.

I think its maybe about time for people to start posting some comment on the Brians Folly website

"is it true you drive a................, I saw a car like that outside Adult Latex Products

" I think I know someone who lives close to you in ........ road"

Be imaginative, its payback time!

;)

Facebook about details indicate owner as briansfolly.com which is an unregistered internet domain, does this contravene Facebook regs?

I really should not put addresses on here as it could attract paint vandals

He was heard to say once if he had the last 3 pallets of bandages he would burn 2 to put the price of the third up!

First stop shopping for Walts by the look.

Sadly plenty of Walts about in Urbex - get the impression they mostly want to break into Area 51, loot the Strategic Steam Reserve or find the secret base of the Illuminati! I mean, gas masks, balaclavas, pig masks? What planet are they on?

Only thing here, lets stay focused on the issue. I know a few URBEX and 28DL have always been OK with me and my mines, I dont want to see all of them tarred with the same brush and fall out with people who have always been OK with me.

The thing about that crowd of paint yobs is that regardless of any grudge they have against Brian, what they are doing in the mine is against all of us.
They are making a lot of enemies and it will come back and bite them.

Yes, its public information from Companies House register of limited companies. For the record, correspondence address is public, directors personal addresses are not unless they enter them as correspondence address.

Otherwise, comments noted
