Maybe I'm old fashioned, but these nasty attacks on individuals and organisations leave an equally nasty taste in my mouth. But if that is what the members and moderators want, I'll accept that I'm not suited for this particular forum.Or raise serious issues in a relatively light hearted way and potentially make folks question their current thinking without immediately jumping to a negative defensive reaction.
If it doesn’t make the subject laugh then it’s failed, I agree on that.
You make a good point Steve, but there’s a fine line between raising serious issues in a light hearted way and being offensive. For one thing, if you don’t know the subject personally, how do you know whether a particular meme will cause thought-provoking laughter or offence?Or raise serious issues in a relatively light hearted way and potentially make folks question their current thinking without immediately jumping to a negative defensive reaction.

Suspect Misbecaving is just mildly trolling. Best to ignore.I'm none the wiser as to what Misbecavings specific beef is. Maybe they could try putting it in words, or better still be constructive.
I realise that this meme may seem bizarre to those unfamiliar with meme culture. The joke is at the expense of the viewer, rather than the subject (UKC). The internet as of late has been oversaturated with short-form content and brain rotting videos that use subway surfers gameplay in the background to keep the attention of their audience (usually young children). As a result, the joke is that many Gen Z's cant focus on anything without constant flashy gimmicks playing. Some memes poke fun at this by having a picture of someone doing something that would otherwise be seen as entertaining (going on a rollercoaster, getting married, etc) with a png of someone watching family guy in the foreground, and a caption referring to the persons inability to enjoy the event without stimulation from their phone. Hope this helps.Well there we have it , caving is really boring to talk about. We all secretly know this. So we all take the p155 out of each other instead. That is what is good about caving. However dissing people while hiding behind a pseudonym is NOT caving, even if some of us have been guilty of it occasionally.
