I should have done my homework before I visited Mauritius, and found out if there were any lava tubes among its volcanic features.
While I was there I was told there weren't, but it was only a tour group guide who told me. I'd rather have the word from a geologist. So, can anyone tell me if there are, in fact, any lava tubes on Mauritius?

Greg Middleton wrote the  defintive report on the caves of Mauritius in the Sydney Speleological Society Journal about 2 years ago.  Sorry I do not have any further details as I sold it.        PM me if you need more details.
