Wezzit?

It's 40 years since I was in Peak Cavern so limited memory...
I seem to remember similar passage on the left not so far inside the entrance but looking at the survey Buxton Water sump looks likely but that's been discounted...
Hmmm...
Swine Hole?

OK, I give up!

Same passage ? different lighting

What's going on with the pinky/purple lighting?
The cave was used as a film set in 2017 for “City in the City” (I think).
This passage had sandbags laid in the “trench” (to allow easy walking) and high volume water pumps at the top, so the passage could be “flooded” at the press of a button, this allowed the hero to rescue his damsel.
I think a cave diver tried to bring an electric cable in from the bottom via the sump but was unsuccessful so it was wedged into the passage sides out of sight.
We were “cave safety”, an interesting couple of days.

Incredible how the memory works - I can still remember that day in Peak clearly and it was 1982. We got to Far sump and there were a crew there waiting for a diver to return...

Here's an old pic from 1979...

I seem to remember a drop down a rift (shortly after the entrance shaft) at the bottom of which was a little hole into the start of the roomy stuff. Is that the place? Many of my brain cells have rotted away since I was there (about 1974) so I can't remember the place too well.

Not there Grahams...
It's a well known feature a bit further down...
