No response so far.

It was a good point, only thing I am not quite clear about is if its in the best interest of the multi nationals to see Britain out, then how come all the big money, including that paragon of virtue and self disinterest George Soros, was being thrown at 'Remain'?

I have just been doing some research and may have been leading you all up the garden path.

I think the W may be right at this time. Trouble is that sometimes its difficult to penetrate the corporate veil. Have to come back on this, off to training.

Bye

BBC being brave there although correct. I remember all the claims being made by 'Leave' although now being erased from their website. Is whitningdale still around?

I have just watched Farage address the European parliament and am not the happy bunny.

Although I agree most of the points he made does he have to show such blatant disrespect by telling them that "they have never had proper jobs"!
First he insults them and then mentions being friends, what world does he live in.
He could take a lesson from my karate, we always show proper respect to an opponent. If you show respect, you gain respect.

The way he is going someone is going to pop him one. He is outright provocative.

This is nothing new. This is how he always behaves there, if he bothers to turn up.

Trouble is Roy, unless the mainstream political parties get their acts together, they're going to hand the likes of Mr Farage and shed load of votes on a plate come election time.

Not a pleasant thought.

With respect Roy, what World have you been living in for the last ten years if you have only just found this out?

The answer is in your hands. There is only one way to go for any intelligent person at the moment.

I said earlier, elsewhere:

"What we see today is that one of the politicians who wanted to get us out, instead of going to the European Parliament and wishing them well without the UK - as no doubt he would wish the UK to be wished in its future lone course ahead - took the opportunity to berate and belittle his fellow representatives:

?Virtually none of you have ever done a proper job in your lives,? Ukip leader tells MEPs in belligerent speech after Brexit vote

This comes across not as a mission to give the UK a better deal, but as a deliberate political attempt to crash the European Union and revel in the outcome.

We need 21st century politics for 21st century life and forward-looking leadership - not plotting and scheming behind the scenes, as with a referendum campaign ?won? through misrepresentation and selective half-baked efforts, simply aimed to crash the political and trading structures that have been painstakingly built up across Europe, and have given us security and peace, along with a degree of resilience to corporate globalisation, over the last 40+ years."
