Damn, I recognise the passage but can't put my finger on it. The polishing indicates a climb up there. Swildon's Upper series?

Tony from Suffolk - well done you have it correct.  It is the wet way in Swildon's.  My kit is all wet but clean from climbing up the little waterfall bit on that route.  I was hoping the smooth rock, wet and clean kit would give it away.  Well done over to you! :)

I must suitably doff my cap to Mr. Burt for the fine picture which I'm being cheeky and using (my present computer does not have many Mendip pics on its archive and I've dredged the barrel of my own pics so need to rely on other people's work!). trying to think of non-mendip caves in mendip underground and can only think of two on the quantocks... is it quaking house cave?

Nope not that one. Think I may be mistaken about it not being classed as mendip, presumed it wasnt but the area is covered on the aonb mendip website.
