Norbert Casteret (Ten Years Under the Earth) and Pierre Chevalier (Subterranean Climbers) were my inspiration to start caving. (And I'm still doing it.) Secretary, Darfar Potholing Club, the Peak District.

The cave on the ledge in Stoney Dale, is it called Bossens Cave, or Windy Ledge, or summut like that?

Looks more like Keyhole Cave near Ivy Green than Bossen Hole

No, it's Windy Ledge Cave / Bossen Hole...

I think Mark's right - it's the "open" part of Keyhole Cave, half way through, where there's an exposed entrance on the left and where the P bolts have been placed. If you squeeze through the short crawl in the dark bit to the right of the chap in the photo, you come out bang opposite the climb up to Ivy Green.

Bossen/Windy Ledge is a through route further right in the Stoney cliffs.

Hmm, not been there for years so he might be. I'm just going off what was written on the back of the photo, lol! Another free for all then, one of you post a photo up!  :)

This might keep things quiet for a little while.  Then again, judging by previous attempts, might not.

Are we nearly there yet?
