Bos sp.  In other words Cow.  Probably modern.  100 ft down?  Some caver.

Hi, from the photo my wife (via email) thinks it looks like a horse MT (rear cannon bone) and a tooth, probably cattle?

correction. not a tooth its part of the bottom of the MT. Where's it from?
Get them to try refitting the broken bit - goes in the middle of the end to the Left and measure it greatest length and I'll calculate the horse's height.

Ahh. Others have said possibly a small horse.

Will try to get a measurement as I dont have it now.

I would think a tibia. But without measurments hard to tell if it's from a horse, cow, (roe) deer, pig or ....

But imho it's in the deer family.
