Showa Thermal Gloves
« on: March 19, 2009, 08:44:32 am »
Anyone know anywhere in Derbys that I can get said gloves...apart from Eyres at Brough.  They are my fave gloves but can never seem to get to Eyres when they are open. Non of the big DIY places in Chesterfield sell them, nor Twiggs at Matlock.  I cant cave wi-out mi Showaz!

Hi Jim,
I go to Brough mill alot (often to buy ferret food but sometimes just for fun as it is the best shop in the world)
So if you want me to pick some gloves up for you just let me know - If meeting up is going to be complicated I can leave them at baggers or something.

Cheers Paul n Katie . The voice of Radio Dee-dah, aka Jim 'Underground' Thompson, knows of a shop in Dronny that sells them (cheaper than Eyres too) and is picking me up a few pairs this week.

I agree though - Eyres is rate good place to stoat about in. If only my work issue moleskin trousers they sell didnt keep falling apart at the seems :(

Hi Big Jim. I use these gloves https://www.s-pgroup.com/shop/product/mp1-grip-gloves-safegard-1342. I get them from a company based in Northern Ireland but they have a centre in Doncaster. They are really hard warring and have done the job for me. Hope that helps?
