From one my few 'not Derbyshire' folders. I hope to god this happens more often than just the time we visited. We shot video, and it rotated and wobbled like some sort of disturbing sex-toy on a record-player :)

Have seen one very similar but a little smaller in the drainage adit of Rhosydd (before water level was lowered) happily spinning away. But sorry no idea where your one is

And as for the comment - well, I have led an interesting life, but I also have a very vivid imagination, so was just about able to conjure that image up unaided. The video is worth a watch, but I'm not sure I ever had it - I'll ask the owner on Friday if he still has it :)

It is Sunset Hole, thankfully, well before the pitch, where two tiny streams meet. Phew!  :)
