Go on, google it and see what you can find out. Then guess the Welsh part and see what you come up with!

I know what the two welsh words are, and i think i know what Garimpeiros means, as its what my Grandfather did.

It all makes sense now. Think I am going to set up a caving club of my own. Might call it the Jack Booted Nazi Caving Club. I'll be able to chuckle to myself when caving in Poland at least!

Naming yourself after a group allegedly responsible for the massacre of children and the burning of a village may be considered by some to be in bad taste though. Still, no point worrying about upsetting anybody, it is all part of the fun right?

The Welsh bits are:
Grwp = Group
Ogofeydd = Caves (according to my dictionary, ogofeydd is a plural form of the word ogof - equivalent to ogofau).

So it'd be "Garimpeiros Caves Group".

unfortunately GOG is used quite derogatively by Welsh - usually by south wales against north wales

[eg what the difference between a gog and hereroids : ans if the come down and go up again then its ok but if they come down and stay down they become a right pain in the ass]

I disagree that it is time to move on from this discussion, I do however believe that it is time to move it on to a better informed platform which has less similarities to a playground spat.

No, but he did spend 30yrs underground mining. 
So could the translation be Miners Caving Group :-\
