how many caves in the mendips?

They have kindly informed me that in fact the despite the dales having multiple Guide books and the mendips only having a small guide pamphlet, the mendips has more caves and more educated cavers

But the Dales have no in-print guide books, so therefore they don't have caves there anymore!
