Not sure how long it'd last in Derbyshire, but a nice idea: http://www.serve.com/scmc/borgman.html

Got a remote, but it's not waterproof or anything - also, don't think it'll work when you've got the dv cam set up with the bullet-cam attached. Will have to have a play....

We've used only used it in Mines, rather than caves, the only draw back tends to be in tight squeezes where the rucksack with the batteries and recorder proove a little awkward !

That said it does make for interesting viewing when climbing or crawling and it gives non-underground people an idea of whats its like to go exploring underground. The person wearing the gear has to remember to move their head very slowly .... otherwise the resultant video can make viewers sea-sick !

Nice! I'v been looking at a helmet cam for a bit and have a couple of website with pre-built cameras I guess the problem is always of light.

# Very small selection of cameras - I like the Tony Hawks one only for novilty.

Excluding the 'Tony Hawks Helmet Cam' everything else needs a video recorder with AV in to lug about.

Does anyone else have any helmet video camera projects, anything thats workable.
