Richard "Dickie" Bird videos on Youtube

There is quite a few on there that he uploaded about a fortnight ago. He was quite a prolific and indeed excellent photographer back in the 1970s and later, his photos offer an excellent record of change in the last few decades. Been a fan of his since I bought a copy of his "Yesterdays Golcondas" back about 1986, the odd thing is that I have yet to actually meet him.
 
Superb photography and great to see so many images of our industrial heritage which are sadly long disappeared.
 
Excellent stuff, just enough annotations and wistfully thoughtful backing soundtrack and I rather like the occasional shutter clicks.
