My own feeling is that the whole thread should be deleted as this is not the place to publish erroneous ( and to some posters embarrassing ) information. If it is a joke lets call it a day, let whomsoever own up then get rid of it. Mind you an actual sighting confirmation of the so called extinct beast might be a useful point to end on.
 
Had a reply to my email. Been a bit under the weather to say the least and still a bit shaky, which doesn't sound too nice.
