Greensett Cave?View attachment 21147This is one of the entrances to which cave?
I have a distinct lack of cave photos but here goes. First clue: in the north of England, but not in the Yorkshire Dales ...It certainly is, over to you Lankyman.
Is it Giants?I have a distinct lack of cave photos but here goes. First clue: in the north of England, but not in the Yorkshire Dales ...
No. Much further north. Is it Giants?
It most certainly is Pool Bank/Fairies. Good to see something happening at Whitbarrow. I've often wondered where the water sinking on top ends up. I tried to get down the pitch in Wakebarrow Pot once but couldn't get a rub-free hang.Ha ha - sorry JasonC - I recognised it immediately as I've carried diving gear through that restriction a few times this year!
Pretty sure we're both right though. Let's see if Lankyman confirms it. I'll rummage out a picture in anticipation.
Conistone Dib?Yes, I think there's a lot of cave still missing on Whitbarrow.
OK folks, a fairly easy one. What's this rather fine glacial meltwater channel called?
