English name for Malcham cave is ICRC

Possibly, but the BBC report refers to it as 'Malham Cave', so I thought it was a good opportunity to wind up Pitlamp. ;)

Name seems not to have been BBC mistake, but Israeli reports say Mount Sedom:

But malcham does appear to be a better transliteration of Hebrew for salt.

Malham has taken a 13-year record held since 2006 by the Cave of the Three Nudes, a 6.85km (four miles) salt cave in Iran's Qeshm Island, the researchers added.
Jesus. The Iranians really won't like that. I'd say they they'll be pretty salty about it.

The Times of Israel describes it as a "hollow" victory (& the previous holder as aka the cave of three naked men). Malcham is actually the Hebrew acronym for Cave Research Club:

Malcham is the Hebrew acronym for Israeli Cave Research Center - hence ICRC. The center is part of the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Institute of Earth Sciences.
