I heard talk some time ogo that Nenthead access may be more controlled, anyone know if this is the case or is it still the old set up?

For big pitches I am thinking of using the "no stop" facility on my Petzl Stop with a crab through the hole to disable the stop facility. I assume it would then be ok the use this crab as the braking crab, or should I use another off the D ring?

I tried to go do Low Eglins Hole, Nidderdale, this weekend and was disappointed to find it has been deliberately blocked with large boulders and a tree trunk. While this cave is probably not a classic it seems such a shame, anyone know why this has been done?

I was wondering if the route down Alum Pot to the bottom via Dolly Tubs can be rigged using rebelays instead of the deviations shown in my guide? Due to a dodgy shoulder (and poor technique) I try to avoid deviations, but am OK on rebelays cheers
