• Help us work out the future of the Inglesport Café

We've been trading since 1977 and next year will be our 50th anniversary.

The café has been part of that for a long time, running quietly in the background for years, and we don't think it always gets the credit it deserves as a genuine community hub. But we need to be straight with you: the café is under real pressure, and we’re not sure of the best path forward.....

This may be a long shot but I'm looking for an elevation survey of West Mine.
I have a plan but the several levels overlay each other and an elevation would help.
Thanks

Hi Groundhog, I am not sure what our policy is regarding giving out full information. I believe we do have ownership of Paul Deakin's surveys now, but I would have to talk to the mines manager to see what we are happy to release.

Have you ever been to Alderley before?

Thanks for your reply. Yes I've been many times. I was an Alderley Cowboy in the early sixties! I've been in West Mine several times in recent years but find the further reaches confusing. I thought an elevation might help. I have already been in touch with some of the leading DCC members but am still awaiting a reply. I understand the need for being reticent with information with access being delicate.

I sent you a PM, just in case you haven't seen it.
