It's the entrance squeeze
Hm - I also wondered about that. I thought it was a pitch entrance. The plot thickens, there's a squeeze at the entrance into OBJ Hole?
I don't remember that, I suppose there is a narrowing where you do have to crawl for a moment. I can see it being that shape, oddly green on one side, which I don't remember.

I'll probably be passing over the next few days; if so I'll take a look, just to satisfy my own curiosity.
We definitely didn't go down the wrong hole because it was during winch meet so rigged with BPC ropes etc. Just beyond this 'squeeze' there was a tiny shuffle, step down (a climb for me, I am a bit small) then the pitch if I recall correctly. The 'squeeze' was smaller because of cobbles on the floor and the rock was very sharp so snagged on clothing. I suppose it could be roomier if less filled up. Maybe we just had bad technique and made it more difficult than necessary. But samouse 1 had to go through sideways and he is not fat. Can't remember what I did but I think it was sideways tooThe plot thickens, there's a squeeze at the entrance into OBJ Hole?

No, you are too far south, in both cases. One of the holes under Tintagel Castle? Or the one under Lundy?
Way too far north, it's one I wanted to visit when I was there, but I seem to recall the tide was too high when I tried. The cave pictured is no where near here, this is the coldest of the guesses.Pretty certain it's spar cave on Syke. Cracking place.
Still too far north.Cefn yr Ogof, Abergele ?
The pictured section is just after the entrance climb down leading towards the first pitchMy recollection of the entrance is a shakehole freeclimb a short rift passable at ground level which is pretty much straight onto the pitch head, backup spit on the right wall behind you. I should know quite well as I wrote a newsletter article about it!

found it! I hadn't been including the ones beyond the diving sectionI think there's a list on the "braemoor" website. If not, maybe Langcliffe will oblige.
The sixth you were missing was probably Motley Pot.found it! I hadn't been including the ones beyond the diving section
