A place best visited after you've visited all the pretty bits and followed by a bath in the streamway.

A clue then.... The more eagle-eyed may spot a rope going downward from near the caver's left knee.
I may be miles out here, but this looks familiar. Is this up Damocles in Eldon Hole? Has a Derbyshire-y feel to it at least.

You're not miles out TLH. It is indeed in Derbyshire. In fact, it is indeed Eldon Hole. Even more than that - it is up towards Damocles Rift. As I recall, it's the bottom of Millers Chamber, just above the 1st "up" pitch. A very nice spot indeed. This photo doesn't do it justice - any that do would have given it away too easily.

Those wooden beams are pretty distinctive ;)
