Wezzit?

I recognized the cut up ladders as a support from the small publication about the discovery and conservation of it.

But try this

The photography is poor but I've used all of my nice photos

I don't know where the cave is, but I'm intrigued by the knot the caver appears to be staring at. Perhaps they are trying to work out if it's tied correctly - it doesn't look to me like an alpine butterfly, but it might be a valid knot of a different type.
It might be a cavers' butterfly. ? Actually, probably not, looking at it again. That might be why they're concerned about it.

Not exactly a a cave – obviously – but at least vaguely connected to caves:

Good evening Babyhagrid,

I took the liberty of dragging your last Wezzit picture on to my desktop and tinkering with it in the simple programme that came with the computer – nothing high-faluting like Photoshop. Anyway, I think that the enclosed picture is an improvement, with just a few simple tweaks – in particular cropping the image; what do you think? (Well, maybe it's a tad too contrasty.)

The bloke in the red helmet looks amazingly like my dear husband, and that could be me on his left, but I haven't a clue! Looks like Dave Ramsay on the extreme right so if my other assumptions are true it could only be one cave, but I guess I'm disqualified if I'm in it.

Let's make it easier for those who weren't a member of the cast of thousands...
