Hi Stupot, I love your picture of GG . . . but when you said 'Gaping Gil main chamber on a bitterly cold winters evening.' you clearly forgot to mention 'Gaping Gil main chamber on a piss-wet bitterly cold winters evening'.

Sorry but I have tried to reduce file sizes (previous post) and re-do here - but the first method in the other thread is just not working for my Flickr images (but I am a child of the Analogue Age....)

Will have to leave them as links to the full sized photo's - but hope this helps Inglesport out.

I have a plan so cunning you could pin a tail on it and call it a Weasel.

Hi Blackshiver

I will sort out your photos.  I know you can link to here from Flickr but there is a knack to it.  Can anyone PM me and tell me what it is.  Give me a day or two.  Cheers

Sharing from Flickr is easy. Just press the "Share" arrow, then select BBCode, then paste that into here...
The end is where we start....

Thanks, Rob - I tried clicking onto Blackshiver's link, found the share 'arrow' however it then differed from your screen shot - is that because it isn't my account?  Would he see differently?

Thanks, Jane

If you hover over the share options on Blackshivers photos it says 'the owner has disabled sharing.'

If you do the same with Brendan Marris awesome shot

then you can share it as Rob detailed

Just an attempt using the share option in flickr, not an entry but a reminder of last winter while we are all sweltering.

Thanks for all the help.

Here's three from me...

1. Sunset from the entrance of Sandy Hole, Portland.

2. Sas in Sawmill Cave, Portland before its destruction due to quarrying.  The cave had been found and then lost due to quarrying a couple of times in the past.  Unfortunately in 2013 the cave was found again, existed for a few weeks and was then subsequently quarried away.  This is one of the few photo's there'll ever be of this cave!

3. One of my favourite bits of stal on Mendip - this is in Hillers Cave, Fairy Quarry.

How could I vote for a particular photo of yours if you post them all in one post?

Not that my vote is worth much as I've pretty much liked every shot so far!  Cancelling them all out.  Bit like a friend who voted for once for Gareth Gates and once for Will Young.

Once the competition closes on 15th July Pegasus will produce a shortlist.  It's liking the photos on that shortlist that will produce the winners.  Until then just like away for the hell of it.. ;D

Thought I'd put in some of my clients - all first time cavers and superb models. Not bad at holding flash guns either.

I always offer them the choice at the end of the trip to get totally soaked and get some nice photos....they never say no!

My first entry was shot during my first "proper" cave photography session, this was with members of SUSS and The Dudley in Peak Cavern. Mark Burkey kindly held a flashgun ;).

My second entry was shot just yesterday, it shows Ben Wright surfacing after an unsupported dive to -71m in Main Rising, Peak Cavern. Mega.
This was his final dive in there, and it was a real pleasure to carry bottles and camera gear in for this concluding effort.
