Spend a long time following stock, for example in flatfish (10, 7)

A quick clue: for "stock", read "stock market index"

Another clue: Think of the connection between a pot and a cave.

That’s the one Robin. Well done.

Spend a long time = PASS AGE
following stock = DOW
((for example = EG) in (flatfish = BRILL)) = BERGILL

I was a bit cheeky in using “following” also to indicate that PASSAGE follows DOWBERGILL, but I guess you know that.

Over to you.

Somewhat outside the usual cave haunts this one.

Excavation where arboreal taunting is vented. (8, 6, 4)

Time for a little clue. We're in Silurian limestone.

I think I've chosen a bit too obscurely here.

If anyone gives me arboreal taunting (8 ) or (4, 4), it's all yours...
