Title: Bottom of Snelslow Swallet
Post by: JefeBo55 on October 20, 2020, 05:43:20 pm
Hi All,

Does anyone know what's at the bottom of Snelslow? From where you bottom in the main chamber does the other shaft lead anywhere? There are no bolts in there at present. Do I need permission to put some bolts in to go down it?

TIA

Please don't put any anchors in it.
It is a dig down there, nothing else to see for now. DCA will bolt this up along with the main shaft when we have volunteer time. If you really need to see it sooner, take a scaff tube for a belay. Snelslow is still a work in progress.

I should also say that the BCA supplied Hilti bolting drill that DCA use has recently died, so we're sorting a replacement before more work can continue in any of the sites we're sorting anchors in at the moment.
