batteries for the distoX
« on: June 07, 2009, 09:19:41 pm »

Any thoughts..given the whole re-calibration malarkey.

Someone mentioned Energizer Li-ion things. About 6 quid. But then someone mentioned that your low battery indicator will not really work very well.. as in 'fine..fine... fine.. fine.. dead' . Are we bothered about a sudden drop off of power if the batteries are going to last 15 years or so..

What have other folks gone for.

Me too. We'll just have to report back here when we have done a complete set of batteries worth of surveying  ;)
