Not so much a cavers cave but fairly well known cave in pembrokeshire is Rook's Cave. (Rook is another name for Castle in chess, which would be the Queens retreat)

Poking around for an answer has lead me to the Queen's Cave which is in a deep gorge in Dipton Woods south of Hexham. Thanks for pointing me towards what should be a good day out Robin. As for your clue, sorry I have no idea.
