What caving related thing did you do today?

Remenisced about post- trip booze ups and songs we used to sing, and the guys who used to sing them.

(This spell check is crap!)

Led a trip through Honister Mine and washed ropes from yesterday's Rowten Big Gully and Jingling Pot trip.

Just been caving. That's caving related I reckon...
...and then to the Hunters, the Centre of the Universe...  :beer2:

Trying to get myself ready for Weavers Point on saturday, ~200ft (60m) bluff freehang on which we practice weighted rappels for long drops. Since next weekend is.....WHITESIDES!!!!! (750ft!!!)

There is vertical practice tonight (it is morning here still!) which I may or may not make it too...part of getting myself ready includes an emergency doc visit in an hour and hoping I dont need surgery or some sort of outpatient procedure that I'll need some recovery time for.

Posted a photo of an incredibly famous and highly trafficked cave on Wezzit. One where when people find out where it actually is they will be kicking themselves.

read the Wezzit, and havent been there so not kicking myself... I need to get caving more!

Sitting hear aching after hauling, pulling and pushing many heavy bags through Blackshiver.

Got to the gate at Schipol on my way back to Manchester from the US to find two members of the Krubera 2012 expedition queuing for security checks, so had a much more interesting wait for boarding than at any other point in my (otherwise non-caving) trip.

Nick.
