Well yesterday morning really.  I was interviewed on BBC Radio York.  Cave rescue put them onto us to talk about the joys of caving in the Dales  (there are many). They didn't want the public to get the impression caving was all about rescue services.  Well done them and I hope I did a good job.

Had an on-site meeting in Barbondale this morning with landowner agent in the middle of a blizzard.  Sorting out a small conflict of interest between a number of parties including cavers and a shooting syndicate.  Good sense prevailed and an amicable solution found.  CNCC will be issuing some advice before the shooting season starts.

A follow up meeting continued discussions on future arrangements for Leck Fell.
